PAUSE AND RECEIVE YOUR MACEDONIAN CALL

"6 They traveled through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, because they had been prevented by the Ruach HaKodesh from speaking the message in the province of Asia. 7 When they came to the frontier of Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia; but the Spirit of Yeshua would not let them. 8 So, after passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. 9 There a vision appeared to Sha’ul at night. A man from Macedonia was standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!” 10 As soon as he had seen the vision, we lost no time getting ready to leave for Macedonia; for we concluded that God had called us to proclaim the Good News to them. 11 Sailing from Troas, we made a straight run to Samothrace; the next day we went to Neapolis; 12 and from there, we went on to Philippi, a Roman colony and the leading city of that part of Macedonia. We spent a few days in this city; 13 then on Shabbat, we went outside the gate to the riverside, where we understood a minyan met. We sat down and began speaking to the women who had gathered there. 14 One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in fine purple cloth. She was already a “God-fearer,” and the Lord opened up her heart to respond to what Sha’ul was saying. 15 After she and the members of her household had been immersed, she gave us this invitation: “If you consider me to be faithful to the Lord, come and stay in my house.” And she insisted till we went."

"6-8 They went to Phrygia, and then on through the region of Galatia. Their plan was to turn west into Asia province, but the Holy Spirit blocked that route. So they went to Mysia and tried to go north to Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus wouldn’t let them go there either. Proceeding on through Mysia, they went down to the seaport Troas. 9-10 That night Paul had a dream: A Macedonian stood on the far shore and called across the sea, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!” The dream gave Paul his map. We went to work at once getting things ready to cross over to Macedonia. All the pieces had come together. We knew now for sure that God had called us to preach the good news to the Europeans. 11-12 Putting out from the harbor at Troas, we made a straight run for Samothrace. The next day we tied up at New City and walked from there to Philippi, the main city in that part of Macedonia and, even more importantly, a Roman colony. We lingered there several days.13-14 On the Sabbath, we left the city and went down along the river where we had heard there was to be a prayer meeting. We took our place with the women who had gathered there and talked with them. One woman, Lydia, was from Thyatira and a dealer in expensive textiles, known to be a God-fearing woman. As she listened with intensity to what was being said, the Master gave her a trusting heart—and she believed!15 After she was baptized, along with everyone in her household, she said in a surge of hospitality, “If you’re confident that I’m in this with you and believe in the Master truly, come home with me and be my guests.” We hesitated, but she wouldn’t take no for an answer."

You may have been paused, and may have been going in what seems to be circles for a long time now. However, there lies a question that you may need to ask yourself in your spirit man; am I being called to Macedonia?

This is the figurative Macedonia, not only the actual territory and country of Macedonia. If you are called there, then that's good! If not, that is good too!

Hear, when it is said, that the Holy Spirit stopped Paul from entering the lands that he thought Holy Spirit was guiding him to. He was arrested, stopped; on his way to what he thought was the right way.

Brothers and Sisters, there may be a land that you thought simply or with intensity you should go to; especially if it is a past calling. However, remember that you are in the present day! The Holy Spirit will lead you to where He is calling you, and He will stop you from entering anything else other than what He has said when you continue to pray, seek, ask and knock for an answer as to where you should be.

In the continual knocking, seeking and asking; Yahweh will show you where you are to be, and just as the word says - - everything will add up! All the pieces that He has shown you over the years/months/weeks/days will come together and fit together perfectly. Almost as though, you couldn't see it perfectly beforehand but you can now!

Take them and run with Yeshua.

Note what is also required to hear where Holy Spirit is leading you; Paul rested. He had a DREAM, a moving picture. Within a dream, Yahweh sealed his instruction as to where he should go to next.

You can only have a dream when you are at rest.

Even daydreaming, you need to be at rest in some form or fashion. For example, your mind needs to be at rest! Not thinking about what you plan to eat for dinner tonight, or how to rectify a situation or some other issue, circumstance or daily task of life; your mind needs to be completely at rest in Him - - meditating on Yahweh and the vast Peace He is and exudes.

For example, if you keep seeing a certain country or location, let's say India; everything concerning India will be in your spirit.

Yahweh will ALWAYS prepare you for where you are to go, especially if you have a serious work to do in the country or location He shows you.

Back to the India example. He will show you the language, the culture, the people, the geography, transportation, grocery stores, farming, food dishes, nomenclature, the history, the government structures, the belief systems, etc. and no matter what you do; you feel something tugging, Holy Spirit, to learn as much as He says about this country or location. Holy Spirit will lead you to intercede for the country and the people, as well as the future of the nation.

This is a call! This is not something to ignore or to be missed!!

What needs to happen now, is that you go immediately to Yahweh, to Holy Spirit, and begin to ask Him about the call. 1st and foremost, lay yourself down at His throne and submit unto Him. He will lead you with the rest as you submit yourself, your fears, worries, concerns, plans and agendas, unto Him and allow Him to show you what you need to see and what the enemy doesn't want you to see.

This is especially apparent if the country you feel Yahweh is taking you to keeps appearing before your face, your eyes. You can be doing what seems like a meaningless activity or a daily task, and the country or someone from the country is presented before you. It is as though, Yahweh will constantly bring this country before you in many different kinds of ways over a period of time. This is usually indicative of a choice that is needed from you so that you can advance further in your calling. Time to stop running from His directive!

It is important, not to rush out and go on your own strength to any land(s) Yahweh shows you; but to come to Him and begin to seek Him deeply for what His will is in the call. It may be to simply intercede, and other times you are sent to go geographically to the land. Holy Spirit will show you, and the fruits of the Spirit will abound concerning the land shown unto you.

Let Him scrape you clean of any spiritual ambition, of any pridefulness, of any fears, of any insecurities, of iniquities, of sins, of anything that would seek to hinder fruitfulness and triumphant victory in accomplishing your call.

Be willing to go where He sends you to go.

He is a gentleman, but He is also God. You are in His wings, allow Him to take care of you as you are concerned first and foremost with the Father's business.

It may not sound the way you would like, it may be frightful, it may be uncomfortable, it may even be dangerous or very weighty; but go where He calls you, in Him.

Put your full trust, faith and confidence in Him. Know who He is! He will give you the strength and the resources you need for the journey to the land He is calling you to.

Enjoy the beginning of the voyage of following where He leads!
