DESTROY OFFENSE WITH THE SPIRIT OF LOVE

When Offense raises it's head, it can be painful; especially when the curses are coming from an unexpected source.

Whether it is someone or a situation that speaks death every time you try to speak life;

Whether it is someone or a situation that is critical of every move you take;

Whether it is someone or a situation that crushes the dreams God has placed in your heart, or something else that instead of uplifting you, but does the exact opposite.

What is the response we are to take against the spirit of offense?

Yahweh's gift of Love.

We destroy offense, with the spirit of love.

Bless those who persecute you.

Bless those who sin against you.

Bless those who curse you.

This is especially so, if the attack is against what Yahweh has laid in your heart.

Has Yahweh laid a dream or a vision in your heart? Something that you know that you know that you know within every fiber of your being is what He has said you are to do or become?

Then be in obedience to Him!

Remember the fruits of the spirit; according to Galatians 5:22-23, is peace, patience, love, long-suffering, joy, faithfulness, goodness, kindness and self-control.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 humility, self control. Nothing in the Torah stands against such things.

24 Moreover, those who belong to the Messiah Yeshua have put their old nature to death on the stake, along with its passions and desires. 25 Since it is through the Spirit that we have Life, let it also be through the Spirit that we order our lives day by day.

26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

The wonder of His majesty fills the very air you breathe and you are left astounded and in awe at His uncompromising goodness, and the sweetness of His presence when you are in something He has called you to do. When you meditate on it, you are reminded of Him; and the air is light with goodness, heavy with wonder.

When dealing with Offense, there is almost an insatiable desire to answer in the same way the offense was given; but know, this is a trap formed and planted by the enemy. What he desires is for you to respond by your flesh, not by the word of Yahweh.

We are to be carriers of His Kingdom, His Glory, which is to operate in His love.

For those who persecute you, speak life to them regardless of whatever is thrown at you. Choose to pray for them. If this is hard, ask Yahweh to heal your heart of any and all offense, bitter roots and resentment; and ask Him to give you a heart of flesh for that person or group of people that offended you. Choose to stand firm in love. If you don't know what to pray, ask Him for what to pray while you are praying in tongues with that person in mind. Tongues usually suffices, because it is a pure, free - flow of Holy Spirit being allowed to operate in you that goes directly to the Father without interference by the enemy and his plots.

Choose now, to be radical in His Love. Whether or not the person speaks cursing or blessing over you, your calling and destiny or something else that concerns you; you are given the responsibility, the choice and the honor to speak blessing and life.

We, as the sons and daughters of Yahweh, are in a war for just that; our identity.

Don't be fooled into the false smokescreen of offense! For the enemy to attack you this hard, means you are doing something right! Choose; to speak, and walk, in love.

Offense is the agreement of the person attacking with the voice of the enemy to go into borders that they are not authorized by Yahweh to cross.

See it like this, it is an invasion by the enemy who seeks to come into your territory - - your inner - man or garden, your sphere of authority, your area of influence that Yahweh has set up; evidently seen by the fruits of the spirit.

Love the person with the same Passionate Love Yahweh has for them, and allow your perspective and perception to be aligned with Yahweh's as to how He sees that person or group of people; not the enemy's. Speak what He shows you regardless!

Then, cut the enemy off by choosing to remove your agreement with anything associated with the offense so he has no ground in you; no areas he can control in you.

Trust that what Yahweh has shown you is truth, and that the enemy; is a liar.

Yahweh, who has begun a good work in you, is faithful to complete it. He will not leave you or forsake you. Stand in the truth of His word, written and spoken, and His banner over you; which is love.

He freely gave love to you and you received, now freely give love back to others.

Be Radical in His love, His ways, His goodness.

Not one of us deserves His love, but He freely gave it to us anyway.
