THE BEAUTIFUL UGLINESS OF DIAMONDS

Diamonds are beautiful, strong, and are sometimes extremely rare. One has to dig deep within the many layers of Earth, sacrifice light for darkness, and cleanliness for mud to get to them. Despite one's hands getting dirty, one may have to evade crawlers, take out creatures that might be able to kill you (poisonous snakes, spiders, etc.) all while having to learn new skills of finding your footing as you go deeper and deeper to find one, precious jewel.

The Diamond is you.

The Diamond is the true, originally intent that is you. What He created you for, His plan for you; your identity found completely in Him. Sometimes, one is not allowed to reveal their identity because they simply have to be mined for it to be released; for the entire world to see. It takes time, painstaking energy, strategy, strength and endurance to get to the Diamond and pull it out of the depths it has been in; sometimes millions upon millions of years.

Think of this; millions upon millions of years He thought of one thing - - you. All of this time, since the Earth was conceived, He thought of you and refined you. Time upon time passing, forming you, for such a time as this.

Therefore, if you are wondering about the true identity of yourself or someone you know; know this - - there may be things to take out (creepy crawlers), there may be darkness, there may be mud, there may be headaches as you dive in to the deep and try to find your footing, there may be many layers to go through, but, there is a diamond. A Diamond, He has formed; since time began. Each unique, each sanctified, set apart, for a specific purpose & destiny, for such a time as this.

When your hands hold that Diamond, just as a pregnant mother holds her newborn child for the first time; all of the pain of digging is gone, for the beauty of the journey is now worth it for it is made manifest, right before your very eyes.

Keep mining. Mine for the Diamonds with Him. Let Him be your sure footing, your light in a dark place, fresh water to keep you clean & healthy, and your guidepost for strategy. The Diamond that lies beneath, the great treasure that resides within you and me, is well worth it.
