HIS LOVE

On this day, Valentine's Day, many are interested in being with a loved one or sharing how they feel with someone; but, there are so many who need something greater than chocolates and flowers, though they are wonderful and can be a sweet thing to show your affections and feelings.

From one heart to another, it cries out that I am a help to you. Not a help for a fleeting moment, not a sweet word that falls off in the next breath, not something that gives you hope for 2 seconds and you fall back into despair; but a lasting, enduring and true help to you.

I want more than anything to see your lives changed for the better, where you can smile at your future, where you don't give into fear but give into faith and love--His love. Beautiful and lasting Change for good. Beautiful and lasting Change for everyone around you; including your children, your relatives, your friends, your co-workers... everyone.

Don't you think it's time for things to change? For things to begin anew? Why are we leaning into ways of hatred when there is another way--a more powerful way. Love. Simple and true. His love; which is true, unconditional, pure, sweet, eternal--never ending, never drying up, never small. But mighty, to the pulling down of strongholds, to the healing of a disease, warmth to a cold and silent heart, light in deep darkness. Let's choose to love His way. It is better, stronger, and much more sweet and simple than we can begin to imagine. This world will not change with more hatred; it will change with His love. But it takes all of us to enter in into His love, His way. When we all do this, or even just a few taking a firm stand for His love; well, it is only a matter of time before nations are changed in a Day, isn't it?

Be blessed, be kind, be open to His love for you above all else. Then be open to showing His love for another. This is the best way to show Him how you feel!
